Join University of Toronto alumni Niyosha Keyzad (PhD, English Literature and Diaspora & Transnational Studies) and Abolfazl Moshiri (PhD, Near and Middle Eastern Civilizations) for an engaging workshop dedicated to dissertation writing. Designed for Iranian Studies doctoral students, this session offers practical guidance on completing thesis projects successfully, from choosing and refining a topic to managing time, conducting research, strengthening writing skills, and sustaining motivation throughout the process.

Participants will also explore strategies for handling stress, incorporating feedback, communicating effectively with committee members, and navigating the final stages of formatting, defending, and submitting the dissertation. The workshop will further address professional development and the cultivation of a strong scholarly profile.
