Quentin Arnoux is a PhD candidate in Persian Art at the Department of Near & Middle Eastern Civilizations. He earned his Master’s degree from the University of Geneva and has gained academic experience in France (Université de la Sorbonne) and Iran (University of Tehran). He completed an internship on illustrated manuscripts and Persian paintings at the Aga Khan Museum (2024). His doctoral research examines the Safavid painter Mu’in Mussavir (ca. 1617–1693) and explores issues related to authorship, signing practices, patronage, and artistic networks in Late Safavid painting.
