“My name is Mahak Rouhina. I have had the privilege of working at Elahé Omidyar Mir-Djalali Institute of Iranian Studies since 2022. During this time, I have been involved in various projects such as Cinema Iranica Encyclopedia Compendium and Iranian Women Poets. My role entails designing graphics for the website, events and gatherings, as well as designing visual identities.
Being part of this team has been truly invaluable to me. One notable accomplishment was our collaborative effort to revitalize the visual identity of the Cinema Iranica Encyclopedia Compendium. Achieving design goals, aligning with the team’s creative vision, and engaging in teamwork had a profound impact on my professional skills. These experiences not only enhanced my design skills but also enriched my understanding of interdisciplinary collaboration.
On a personal level, working with the Institute has been a transformative experience for me. The supportive environment at the Institute has allowed me to connect with many experts and gain valuable insights into Iranian studies, which I have applied to my artistic practice. Elahé Omidyar Mir-Djalali Institute of Iranian Studies has provided a platform for my personal and professional growth as both an artist and a collaborator, fostering a spirit of cooperation and innovation. I am grateful for the opportunities I have received and eagerly look forward to continuing my journey with the Institute.”
