Negar Sagharichi is an M.A. student in the Department of Near and Middle Eastern Civilizations at the University of Toronto. She holds a B.A. in Museum Studies from the Cultural Heritage Higher Education Center and an M.A. in the same field from Tehran University of Art. From 2008 to 2023, Negar worked as a museum curator, exhibition manager, and educator in various Iranian institutions, including the Sa’ad Ābād Complex and the Malek National Library and Museum. Since 2024, she has been honored to serve as a work study student -collection registrar- for the Tavakoli Archive. Her research interests include the National Museums of the Middle East as well as the creation of intercultural experiences through museum activities for second-generation immigrants. In 2024, Negar was awarded the graduate student scholarship from the Elahé Omidyar Mir-Djalali Institute of Iranian Studies and the graduate scholarship from the Soudavar Memorial Foundation in recognition of her M.A program.
