Elahé Omidyar Mir-Djalali Scholar Award

The Elahé Omidyar Mir-Djalali Institute of Iranian Studies at the University of Toronto invites applications for the Elahé Omidyar Mir-Djalali Scholar Award for 2025-2026. The EOM Scholar Award shall be granted to tenure-track University of Toronto faculty members in Iranian/Persian studies to assist in compiling successful tenure files. Activities covered may include publishing a manuscript, starting a new line of research, and building an inclusive scholarly network.

The selected Faculty Scholars are expected to be in residence at the Elahé Omidyar Mir-Djalali Institute at the University of Toronto for the duration of their appointment.

To apply, we require three letters of recommendation written by colleagues familiar with your scholarship.
