Reyhaneh Javadi is a Ph.D. student of sociology at the University of Alberta. She received her MA in Sociology and Social Anthropology from Central European University. She obtained her other MA and her BA in sociology from the University of Tehran, where she also worked as a social researcher. She is focused on law as a social construct in the Iranian setting, and her research interests include law and society, social movements, sociology of gender, and political sociology.
