Negin Kamvizh provides research on Cinema Iranica and website assistance at the Elahé Omidyar Mir-Djalali Institute of Iranian Studies with the Women Poets Iranica and Cinema Iranica projects. Negin completed her MSc in International Relations with Distinction at the University of Glasgow. She was awarded the Chevening Scholarship by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office. She specialised in human rights and global politics, environmentalism, gender equality, United Nations law and international humanitarian law. Her research focused on the securitisation of climate change in the UN Security Council. Prior to this, she completed a BA in Russian Language at the University of Tehran, specialising in Russian language, literature and politics. Moreover, Negin has quantitative and qualitative research experience. She has worked for the UN Information Centre in Tehran and UNDP in Istanbul in areas of research, communication, climate change and sustainability. She has language abilities in Persian, English, Russian, Turkish and Tajiki.
