Parnia Vafaeikia is a Joseph-Armand Bombardier Canada Graduate Doctoral Scholar at the University of Toronto’s Department for the Study of Religion. She holds a BA in sociology and an MA in Interdisciplinary Studies. Her research ethnographically explores the construction of anticipatory subjectivities among Iranian Shi’i immigrants in Canada.
