Speakers:
Ali Ehsassi has served as the Member of Parliament from the Toronto riding of Willowdale since 2015. He is a member of the Liberal Caucus, and currently serves as the Chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee of Parliament.
Azadeh Rojhan-Gustafsson has served as a member of Swedish Parliament since 2014 and as a member of the Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly.
Alireza Akhondi (Sweden) was elected a member of the Swedish Parliament in 2018, and serves as a member of the Center Party caucus.
Darya Safaei (Belgium) was elected as a federal Member of Parliament to the Belgian House of Representatives in 2019, and currently serves as a member of the Foreign and Defence Committees.
Danial Ilkhanipour has been a Member of Parliament (Hamburg State) since 2015 and the Spokesman for Europe and International Affairs. He also represents Hamburg as a Member of the “Congress of Regions” in Brussels.
Musicians:
Behnoosh Behnamnia is an Iranian-style violinist, kamancheh soloist, and founder of the Eastern Sunrise Ensemble, currently studying Music Technology and Digital Media at the University of Toronto.
Naghmeh Farahmand is a Persian percussionist with a recent debut solo CD, “Unbound,” and instructional DVD, “The Iranian Daf,” followed by “A Tale of Two Cities” and “Refuge” Albums.
Marzieh Rahimzadeh is an award-winning Santoor virtuoso and a graduate of Music performance from Art university, Tehran.
